What can those near area A expect as traffic increases due to development? What kind of issues would need to come up to get DOT to pay/budget for updates?

44:51
How will TIAs account for the coming traffic of all the development south of 40/85 that does not yet have traffic but will soon enough?

52:10
Widening Buchorn from West 10 to US 70 will require taking land, yes? I am especially concerned about the two churches.

56:07
So what happens if property owners do not give/sell their land?I certainly have a rudimentary understanding on the topic but with all the growth off the buckhorn exit it feels as if traffic flow is going to get a whole lot worse before it can be justified for improvements. With industrial development we can expect tractor trailers not just cars. What does orange county expect to do to make this less of a burden on existing residents.

01:02:06
How will properties around Area A be protected environmentally from development in the area? Many wells in the area are older and relatively shallow, could land owners wells be effected by industrial development?

01:04:22
What kind of uses are covered in the current zoning and what would require a rezoning?

01:07:53
the development of this area has been a conversation for decades. Long time homeowners have been negatively impacted while the pieces to move the development of this area. Are there plans to address this?

01:11:19
What are UDO requirements for buffers next to residential property.

01:24:35
What is the Orange County economic development office doing to support existing local business owners in the area? What is being done to recruit green industrial business to the EDD? How are y’all using ARP funds to support innovative economic development opportunities in western Orange? I know these are questions for Economic Dev and the County Manager, but would love to hear any of y’all’s thoughts

01:29:26
Has any thought been put into working with the City and Regional planning Department at UNC in order to pro-actively seek development that is driven by resident input and needs?

01:43:55
